There are many different opportunities for you such as on the job training, job shadowing, internships, etc. Some others are:

School to Work
Opens the door to all students and helps develop their potential and ability to succeed in the complex, highly technical world we share.

Youth Apprenticeships
A two-year program for high school juniors and seniors that allows students to get their training on-the-job and get paid for their work. Current internships are available in finance and automechanics.

Job Corps
A comprehensive employment training program available to young women and men, ages 16 through 24.
Job Corps centers are a great place for you to complete your education, learn a marketable trade, make friends that last a lifetime, and graduate with a good job in-hand. It also provides actual work experience. Call 1-800-230-5627 today!

Job Shadowing
Youth spend the day learning about a business.

Mentoring
Youth spend time with an adult to learn how to become a better leader.

Contact your local Job Center or school counselor to find out about the many opportunities for youth!

Certain grants and programs provide occupational skills training customized to fit the needs of eligible Job Seekers.
The training could include basic computer skills to highly specialized skills.
Other programs provide you with a General Education Diploma (GED) or High School Equivalence Diploma (HSED).
